Our Story
Welcome to Jose’s Culinary Creations — where passion meets flavor. Experience chef-inspired dishes and personalized catering designed to make your special event unforgettable.
My culinary journey began at the Cooking & Hospitality Institute of Chicago (2003–2004), where I built the foundation of my craft and discovered my passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
I gained early experience as a line cook at Sunrise of Lincoln Park in Chicago, followed by Coobah Restaurant in the city’s Southport Corridor. Under the guidance of Executive Chef/Owner Jimmy Madla and Sous Chef Andrew Nelson, I developed the precision and creativity that shaped me into a true Chicago line cook.
From 2004 to 2006, I refined my skills in a fine‑dining environment at Pacific Rim in Milwaukee, Wisconsin—advancing from line cook to sous chef under Executive Chef Charlie Weerphan. During this time, I also worked at the Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Northwest Conference Center, specializing in breakfast and banquet service.
In 2006, I joined the Bartolotta Hospitality Group, supporting the grand opening of Catering & Events at Discovery World in Milwaukee. Later, I expanded my experience with Zilli Hospitality Group (2010–2011), working in their main kitchen and as a travel chef across multiple venues.
These experiences inspired me to launch Jose’s Culinary Creations LLC, where I bring together years of professional training and a deep love for food to craft custom menus for events of all sizes.
